Strategic Planning, innovations and Execution:

  1. Orientation Program:

All staff and students were oriented on the Prakruthi Pariksha App to ensure smooth data collection and accurate assessments.

  1. Team Formation:

Volunteers were divided into teams comprising 1 faculty and 10 students, ensuring a balanced and organized approach. This created high competition between the teams.

  1. Regional Content Creation:

All necessary materials were created in the Kannada language to improve public engagement.

  1. Comprehensive Outreach:

Our volunteers conducted Prakruthi Pariksha in various sectors, including:

 

Institute Members: Students and staff of our institution, along with their family members and friends.

Educational Institutions: Engaging students and staff from nearby schools and colleges.

Workplaces: Employees and customers of banks, LIC offices, post offices, hypermarkets, and local shops.

Healthcare Facilities: Staff and patients at the Taluka Government Hospital & other private Hospitals.

Public Services: Police station staff, court staff, and petrol pump employees.

Community Areas: Door-to-door visits in local areas, nearby villages, and panchayats.

Experiences and expertise gained:  

This campaign provided an invaluable opportunity for our students and faculty to engage with diverse communities and witness the impact of Ayurveda on a national scale.

Community Engagement: Our volunteers reached diverse communities, conducting Prakruthi Parikshan with precision and compassion. 

Skill Development: Students gained hands-on experience in understanding prakruthi (constitution) assessment, enhancing their diagnostic capabilities and confidence.

Awareness Drives: We organized awareness sessions, Rally and educational programs to emphasize the significance of understanding individual prakruthi for preventive healthcare.

Induction Programme for 1st Professional BAMS 2024-25 Batch was Conducted on 13/11/24 in AAMC & P.G. CENTRE Davanagere. The function was started by Welcoming the Guests SMT. SUSHEELA B. HIREMATH

DR.MANJUNATHA S, Dr. M.N.Hiremath Chairman AMC college Davangere, Dr. Gnaneswara L M Principal AMC college Davangere. Function was inaugurated by Guest by doing Pooja to Lord Dhanvantari  & by watering the plant.The prayer song was sung by students. Followed by guest introduction , guest speech and guest felicitation. Later  by welcoming the students with self introduction. Dr. Gnaneswara L M  delivered principal note. Toppers in 1st professional BAMS(2022-23) examinations were awarded with prize money &  top 5 NEET scorers who admitted in AAMC were given token of appreciation. Followed by students & parents opinion.  Presidential Speech was delivered by Dr. M.N.Hiremath. Programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Manjula. M.S.

          After lunch Pre-Test was conducted for students & feedback was taken.

       On 25th October 2024, from the Department of DravyagunaVijnana we had conducted a Educational Trip for 2nd Phase BAMS Students(54) along with 3 Staff members, Dr. Sindhu Naregal, Dr. VishalaxiKalal and Dr, Gajendra to visit “SHOBHAVANA” an Herbal Garden at Moodibidire, Mangalore. We arrived there at 2:30 pm and we were guided by 2 Staff members of AlvasAyurvedic Medical College, Moodibidire.

            “SHOBHAVANA” is one of the Biggest Herbal Garden which we have seen so far. It includes more than  1000 species in the Campus. Our motto/objective was to make our Students expose to such environment where they can be able to differentiate between different Species based on their morphological features. Students captured various pictures of rare and common species such as Varieties of Asoka, Meshashrngi, Chandana, red variety of Kebuka etc.

            Our visit ended up at 5 pm. It can be concluded that the visit was successful & we believed that our objective was achieved. We learned something new & beneficial for us.

   Function  was conducted by the Department of PanchakarmaOrganized by Dr.Surekha. Assistant Professor Dept. Of Panchakarma.

On the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayati and 9th Ayurveda Day i.e., on 29th October 2024. Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav announces theme of 9th Ayurveda Day as “Ayurveda innovation for Global Health”.

          Objective of this Day is to create a sense of awareness in todays generation & promote Ayurvedic Principles of healing in Society.

          A Programme was conducted at “Sadyojatha Shivacharya Mahaswamigala Hirematha” where 3 colleges were gathered together to celebrate 9th Ayurveda Day. Exhibition of more than 25 Medicinal Plants was conducted to create awareness regarding day to day use of Medicinal Plants to maintain Health of an Individual & society. Both Dry & Wet Species were kept for display & information was given about their uses to maintain Swasthya of a person. Medicinal Plants include Ashwagandha, Chakramuni, Twak, Maricha, Asthishrnkala, Aragvadha etc.

This Programme has benefitted more than 100 Students, 40-50 Staffs & Public.

 

     Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College & PG Centre conducted the Graduation Ceremony for the  graduates of 2018 batch.

The ceremony was held at Dr.Shyamasundar Buntara Bhavana on 14/09/2024 - Saturday.

The programme was inaugurated by lightning the lamp by chief guest and all the dignitaries, The pray song was sung by 1st phase BAMS students.

The Real stars of the graduation ceremony the students were looking beautiful by wearing the graduation gown, the Oath taking delivered by Smt. Sumangala  Bhatt  to the graduates of 2018 batch.

            On 3rd Aug 2024 on the occasion of world Breast Feeding Week. From Department of Kaumarabhritya organized guest lecturer on topic. Ayurveda & Modern concepts of breast feeding. Guest speaker Dr. Raghavendra M.D consultant Neonatologist & Pediatrician Matru Chaaya modern concepts of Breath Feeding and Dr.Shweta. D professor at Tapovana Ayurveda medical college delivered lecturer on Ayurveda concept of breast feeding to the all the phases of B.A.M.S students in the presence of Dr.M.N Hiremath chairman & Dr. Gnaneshwara L.M Principal and program was organized by Dr. Virupaxayya Swami Associate professor & Dept of Kaumarabhritya, AMC Davangere.

On the occassion of Charaka Jayanti, In AAMC Davanagere Charaka Jayanti was Celebrated on 10/08/24. Programme was conducted by the Department of Ayurveda Samhita &Siddhanta, Organized by Dr.Priyanka.H.C Assistant Professor Dept. Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhanta.

The function was started by Welcoming the Guests Dr.JAYANTHI C & Dr.M.N.Hiremath Chairman, Dr. Muktha and Dr. Gneneshwara L M Principal AMC collegeDavangere. Function wasinaugurated by Guest by doing Pooja to Lord Dhanvantari and Acharya Charaka.The prayer song was sung by students. Followed by Samhita Patana and Introduction about Acharya Charaka was given by student ,followed by Guru Ashtakam and Ayurveda Avatarana Skit performance by Students, On the occasion of Charaka Jayanti previous day Dept. Samhita &Siddhanta conducted Shloka recitation and Essay writing competition on 08/08/24.The Prize distribution was done for winners during the Charakka Jayanti celebration. Followed by Guset introduction and Felicitation to Chief guestDr.Jayanthi. C Followed by Guest Speech .In the end Validactory function was done by Dr.Priyanka. After the completion of function Prasadavitarana was done.

Ayurveda Samhita &Siddhanta.The function was hosted by Spandana&Ananya. Welcome speech was given by Anusha, Prayer song by Nisarga and Team , Prize Disturbution was hosted by Anupama.GuruAshtakam by Pornima and Team, Samhita Patana by Modhini and Team. Skit was narrated by Spoorthi and acted by Karthik and Team. Chief guest introduction was given by Dr. M.N HiremathChairman , AAMC davanagere. Valedictory was done by Dr.Priyanka. The function was attended by the teaching staff, students.

    On 3rd August 2024 Angadan JAn Jagrukta Abhiyaan celebrated as Indian organ Donation Day in NOTTO platform in Ashwini ayurvedic medical College and pg centre davangere.All phase BAMS students attained the function followed by skit play by 1st BAMS students.

 

 

       On 12th August 2024 Ayurvisharada and Jeevaka Award ceremony organised.Himalaya drug company distributed awards to the toppers of 4th BAMS 2018 Batch Kallesh S.R , as 1st topper,  Suma mudappalavar and sneha MH as second topper in presence of chairman - Dr.MN Hiremath, chief Guest - Dr.veeresh S.Bandegolmath, chair person - Dr.Manjunath.S Himalaya manager scientific service Dr.Abhilasha A and co ordinator Dr.salma H.
