On the occasion of Cancer Prevention Day the college has been associated with Prajavani Newspaper team arranged Jatha 4 Km around davangere. The Jatha has been inaugurated by Superintendent of Police C.B.Ryshyanth and Jatha flagged by Chairman & Principal Dr. Mruthyunjaya N Hiremath Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College & PG Centre, Davanagere.

Around 20 Teaching Staff, 30 Non-Teaching Staff, 250 Students were participated in Jatha . The program is coordinated by Dr. Vishwanath, Reader ( Dept. of Rasa Shastra & Baishagya Kalpana).
