JEEVAKA AWARD AND AYURVISHARADHA AWARD
Distribution of Jeevaka Award and Ayurvisharadha Award by Himalaya wellness company was organised on 24th April 2026 in Ashwini Ayurvedic medical college and P.G centre Davanagrere. The program was graced by respected chief Guest Dr. Abhilasha manager scientific service, Chairman Dr. M.N Hiremath professor Department of Shalya Tantra , Principal Dr.Muktha M.H professor Department of Kaya Chikitsa and Coordinator Dr. Manjula M.S Professor Department of Agada Tantra and Dr. Salma .H Associate Professor Department of Shalya Tantra. The program started with welcome of respected chief guest and dignitaries to Dias lamp lightning and prayer. Followed by speech from Chief Guest and Principal. Later Jeevaka Award was presented to the 1st topper of college Nagashree K who secured 76.90% and Ayurvisharada award was presented to Srujana Kuncbal who secured 75.45% in the their Final year B.A.M.S of batch 2020 -21. Inspiring and Thanku you speech was delivered by both awardees. The program ended with vote of thanks. Respected chief Guest Dr. Abhilasha was felicitated by dignitaries.

Report on Health Check-up and Blood Donation Camp On 02-02-26
A Health Check-up and Blood Donation Camp was successfully conducted on 02-02-2026 at Suzlon Energy Limited, Davangere, with the objective of promoting preventive healthcare, creating awareness about regular health screening, and encouraging voluntary blood donation among employees and the surrounding community.
The camp was organized by Ashwini Association's Ayurvedic Medical College and PG Centre, Davangere, in collaboration with healthcare professionals, trained nursing staff, and student volunteers. The program commenced at 10:00 AM with a brief inaugural session, followed by registration of participants.
During the health check-up camp, various basic health parameters were assessed, including blood pressure, blood sugar levels, hemoglobin percentage, body mass index (BMI), and general physical examination. Doctors also provided consultations and offered advice regarding lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Simultaneously, a blood donation camp was arranged following all standard safety protocols. Eligible donors were screened thoroughly before donation to ensure the safety of both donors and recipients. Proper sterilization, use of disposable equipment, and post-donation care were strictly maintained. Refreshments were provided to all donors after blood donation.
A total of 30 beneficiaries received medical screening services and guidance, and several eligible participants voluntarily donated blood. The collected blood units will be utilized to support patients in need and strengthen blood bank reserves.
The camp concluded with a vote of thanks to the management of Suzlon Energy Limited, the organizing institution, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and participants for their cooperation and enthusiastic involvement. The program was highly successful in achieving its objectives and created a positive impact by promoting health awareness and social responsibility.

The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at our college campus on 26th January. The entire campus was beautifully decorated with tricolour flags, balloons, and banners, creating a vibrant and nationalistic atmosphere.
The program commenced at 8:30 AM with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. All students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and administrative members assembled in large numbers to witness the occasion.
After the flag hoisting, the Principal delivered an inspiring address highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution, the values of democracy, unity, and integrity, and encouraged students to contribute positively towards nation-building.
Several cultural programs were presented by the students, including patriotic songs, group dances, and speeches that reflected the spirit of freedom and love for the nation. The performances were well-received and appreciated by the audience.
A special session was conducted where students shared thoughts on the significance of Republic Day and the responsibilities of citizens in upholding constitutional values.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the organizing secretary, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty members, staff, and students for their cooperation and active participation.
The Republic Day celebration at our college was a grand success and instilled a sense of patriotism and pride among all participants.

The program began with Welcome note by Dr.Deepthi M R. The program was inaugurated by the dignitaries by lighting the lamp, which was followed by invocation song by students of III BAMS.
All the Dignitaries delivered the inspirational speech to the graduates and congratulated them and encouraged them to uphold professional ethics and values in their future careers. The Oath pledge was given by Dr.Manjula M S. During the ceremony, degrees were conferred upon 28 graduates. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of thanks by Dr. Vinay Kumar, followed by the National anthem. The day was filled with pride, joy and emotions as graduates stepped forward towards new beginning.

On 06-10-2025 “ORGAN DONATION PLEDGE CAMPAIGN AND AWARENESS PROGRAM” was organized in Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College and Postgraduate Centre, Davangere.
The program was inaugurated by Chairman of the institution, Dr. Mruthunjaya N. Hiremath and Dr. Muktha M H, Principal.
Dr Muktha M H emphasized the importance of Organ Donation. Followed by briefing about the functioning of National Organ Transplantation Program and National Organ And Tissue Transplantation Organization by Dr.Manjula M S, Professor, Dept.Agada Tantra and Dr.Vinaykumar D.R, Asso.Professor, Dept. Shalya Tantra delivered a talk on Organ Donation.
Later the program was ended with taking of pledge by all the faculty members & students.

Blood Donation Camp Organized at Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical Hospital and P.G. Centre
On September 25, 2025, a blood donation camp was organized by Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical Hospital and Postgraduate Centre. The program was inaugurated by the Chairman of the institution, Dr. Mruthunjaya N. Hiremath.
On this occasion, Dr. Doddikoppad from Lifeline Blood Centre, the Principal of Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical Hospital and P.G. Centre, Dr. Muktha Hiremath, along with the college staff and students, participated actively. The youth enthusiastically came forward to donate blood during the camp. In total, 17 students and staff members voluntarily donated blood.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Dr. Mruthunjaya N. Hiremath emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating, “Blood donation is a noble act. Every donor can potentially save at least three lives. Everyone should cultivate the habit of donating blood regularly.”
The camp was graced by the presence of faculty members Dr. Salma, Dr. Shashidhar, Dr. Deepti, and Dr. Manjula. The event was efficiently coordinated by the staff of Lifeline Blood Centre, including Mr. Mahantesh Naik, laboratory technician Mr. Manjunath, and nurse Ms. Manasa, who ensured smooth execution of the program.
All blood donors were honored with certificates of appreciation. The organizers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the camp.

Report on Celebration of Independence Day 2025
The Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm at Ashwini Associations Ayurveda Medical College, Davangere on 15th August 2025. The entire campus was decorated with national flags and tricolour decorations, creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere.
The programme commenced with the welcome and gathering of guests, followed by the arrival of the Chief Guest, V. M. Vani, Dr Ravidranath G and Dr. Shankar Narayan. The Chief Guest, along with our Chairman, Dr. Mrutyunjay Hiremath, and Principal, Dr. Muktha M. H., proceeded to the flag post. The National Flag was hoisted, and all present sang the National Anthem with pride and reverence.
After the flag hoisting, a welcome speech was delivered, highlighting the significance of the day. This was followed by the Chief Guest’s address, in which he inspired everyone to contribute positively towards the nation’s progress. Our Chairman and Principal also addressed the gathering, motivating students to uphold the values of unity and responsibility.
The cultural programme included a patriotic song performance by students, which filled the atmosphere with emotion and national pride. The Prize Distribution Ceremony honoured the academic and extracurricular achievers of the year, encouraging others to excel.
The programme continues with presenting a small token of love to the respected elders from Voice of People Old Age Home, by our beloved chief guest DR. RAVINDRANATH G AND V. M. VANI. Through this humble gesture, we expressed our deepest respect, heartfelt gratitude, and warm affection towards them. These tokens may be simple, but they carry with them our love, care, and best wishes.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, staff, students, and volunteers for making the celebration a success. Sweets were distributed to all participants, adding joy to the occasion.
The celebration was a fitting tribute to our nation’s freedom, reminding everyone of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and inspiring all to work towards a stronger, united India.
